I'd also argue that Sabin and Yang (from FF4) are the only two characters in the mainline series that should be considered "monks." The otherr punchy kicky characters are just martial artists at best, pugilists at worst.

"Final Fantasy Forum" was a monthly feature dedicated entirely to exploring Square RPGs, none of which were available in PAL regions at the time. The whole magazine was equally as obsessive.
