Your USA curling stream issue was that they had the finals streamed on their own site that was free but required making a log in. The comments on YouTube had the details. Not the best way to push people there though, the video should have had the instructions!

You are right that you have to keep the options in to protect from intentional burns, but I like the way they did it. The expectation is rock pulled, no need for being nice.
