i do love what i've read of hers, but that's admittedly not much. i've had the parable series on my list for a while so i guess i'll read that next

it was always clear that leguin was a dragon pervert (good for her), but this book provides compelling evidence that she was Not a tf pervert namely bc the description of a dragon turning into a woman is "there was a puff of smoke and then a human was there. and she was wearing pants and a shirt"

i think that at the time i first read this book i happened to be vaguely conceptualizing a story where "magic is vanishing from the world" and i was humbled by how shallow my vision of that was. maybe my ideas are still shallow by comparison, but it's nice to want to try harder

i understand a lot of people straight-up can't use itch, and if that's you, i humbly ask for your continued patience. however, if you can use itch and you're holding out because you want to play it on your steam deck i'm going to come out of your walls and politely remind you there's a linux version
