Absolutely! I'd argue it's not really okay to approve and then reject a referral, but esp not on the day of the appointment!

In fact, when the team switched from clinical to non clinical triage, there was an explicit discussion about "we can't have referrals sat on the wait list without being seen by a clinican".

Sorry you've been messed around like this.

That is, to put it bluntly, a bloody stupid system! I used to triage referrals for the NHS & I can't imagine it being done like that. >

That's so weird. Mine said the same! "Oh, you like digging in the mud, do you?" In a tone of voice that told me this was not a good thing. Anyway, turns out I love digging in the mudπŸ˜†

Poor Peanut looks 3x as old since we lost Bobby. I want to take her in and give her a good meal, a wash a blow dry and a deep conditioning treatment for her fur, and put some cream on her battle scars. Needless to say she would not experience this in the loving way it is meant!

Yikes. Hopefully, although it's agony now, you'll be in less pain in the long run 🀞

a kitten peeking out of a box with the words happy birthday lucas & friends Alt: A grey kitten peeking out of a white box with the words happy birthday written in white capitals at the top and 3 balloons, red, yellow and purple, drifting upwards.

Happy Birthday Debs! That sounds like excellent birthday sustenance. Hope it was a good one, I thought this looked a bit like Rosie x

That sounds like a lot of gallstones!! I'm glad they're looking after you x

Sorry to miss it, I was distracted by badgers!

Sure, no problem. Could I borrow that bed for tomorrow morning though!

Yeah. Mine does, too, but just the outside. Not convinced it needs doing every 3 months tbh, but definitely every 6πŸ€”

It has actually made my journey slightly easier overall, despite the slightly drunk feeling - which just goes to show the impact of anxiety

Absolutely. I think AI has its place, incl as a living aid & for medical diagnosis (checking scans). The problem is the way it's set up and regulated, not the people making valid use of it.

Definitely. Window cleaning is exhausting.

I think I'll see if I can find someone to do the insides as well as the outside. Embarrassing though as there is quite a lot of condensation mould.

Very sedated! I accidentally took my night time meds in the morning πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ Oddly making my train trip to mum's a bit easier though, which just shows the impact of anxiety.

FB is particularly full of it, & tbh I doubt the efficacy of much of it.

In a way it's good to know it's not just me whose social contact has nosedive since Covid. But it's also terribly sad.

Haha, you seem to have done a bit of a quantum time manipulation thing there!

04.03.2026 17:42 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

That sounds hugely frustrating.

Aargh! I feel you. My place needs pretty much a complete re-do😬

Last time I had the windows done I heard the window cleaner on the phone telling his mate they were really dirty. And it's been even longer this timeπŸ˜³πŸ™ˆ

a man in a white shirt is standing in a field Alt: Gif shows a man of with dark skin, a white shirt and brown trousers in a field surrounded by trees. He is staggering sideways and starts to fall.

In the midst of my "just woke up" befuddle I accidentally took my night rather than morning meds.

Now have to do a longish journey and can't decide whether this is:
a) a good thing - less anxiety or
b) a bad thing - feel a bit drunk and even less co-ordinated than usual😱

I used to, but not so much recently. Not sure whether that's the lack of people contact or because I've become old and (more) stubborn πŸ˜†
