Throwback to our Thanksgiving Ranch trip from 2024.

Slow moving thunderstorm heading towards Airdrie. Right now here in Calgary we are feeling some gusty winds from that system, however the system should miss us here in the SW.

Slow moving storm going to roll across Alberta. If you are out and about, make sure you bring some rain gear.

You can see this storm having difficulty with the cap, also called a Lid. The cap, above the flat top of this storm, is preventing or delaying the development of thunderstorms. If this storm can break through the cap then it will essentially blow up and turn into an explosive thunderstorm beast.

So, it’s been a week since our 20 year old cat, Poutine, woke up blind. Blood tests and Vet had no concrete answers as to why. Today she showed slight progress. She was able to follow a laser light spot at the brightest level for a short period of time. Anything positive no matter how small is a big

My first ever shot of a Golden Eagle & a Badger engaged in a staredown, while we wait for storms to develop along the Alberta foothills.

We were chasing near Nanton but nothing developed like it should have, so we raced back home to beat this storm. Made it back just in time. 🤣

Yeah. They are not made for comfort. I use the Bird ones but they are not much better. Still have to use arms and legs to absorb the ruts and bumps. I would recommend getting your own with off-road shocks front and back.
