And this might be Stockholm Syndrome, but I've actually really enjoyed talking to people in the various queues I've been in over the last few months. Obviously there are people to avoid, but there are so many lovely people in the community to meet.

I also think as a parent (of a child who doesn't watch YouTube or TikTok) there are ways to keep it fun without spending too much. Our local shop has tons of bulk to buy at 10p per card and it's actually a lot of fun when everyone has "bad" cards. Ha ha. But yeah, once "hits" become the focus... 😬

My son got interested in Pokemon TCG at the beginning of summer and it has been an experience for the last few months. Ha ha. As you say in the article, though, things do feel like they're heading in a positive direction for now. Thanks for writing that up!

I remember when I shipped out the rewards for Knights and Bikes. Despite being quite a lot of effort, it felt to magical and like I was connected to all these people around the world!

If you ever find the reference, tell me so I know at least one person got it. Ha ha ha.

Just added an easter egg into Mythmatch that is so obscure that given the expected sales figures, will probably be understood by literally 0 people.

I can't remember if you used to be in AAA but that politics thing was exactly my experience. Was not ready for people to be willing to destroy the game to optimize how much credit they could take for things.

Absolutely. Don't have much to add, but I've experienced this every time whether things go well or poorly. So you're not alone.

Ah. Mine are just silly things that the mortals say if you keep talking to them each day. So if you're patient enough, you will eventually go down the spiral of my mind.

I love this kind of stuff. We're mostly content locked, but just thought of a weird easter egg I still want to sneak in. So going to pop it in today. Ha ha.
