I've heard that argument before and it's a good one! It's basically how people would like to live. I noticed a lot of New England small cities were like this and one of the reasons I liked living there - they were built before cars were dominant. Look for a town built in the mid-1800s.

I wrote this (with @starrevartan.bsky.social in 2016, before SCOTUS ruled that Presidents can do whatever they want, and before there was a Project 2025 document saying that they would do exactly what they have done. It’s pretty clear he hates federal scientists.
