You know, sometimes, I do get tired of all the motivational and inspirational writing post I read daily on Substack? Why? Because it is so performative, especially when I know the writer used A.I. to generate them. Plus, I find motivational and inspirational writing posts monotonous.

The migratory birds were flying alongside the giant dragon. However, the migratory birds did not seem surprised. Perhaps this was a common sight for them.

The solution for my little notebook problem has been acquired.

Today is one of those days I just want to scream and wish I picked another hobby that wasn't writing.

Fun when you freak yourself out. I filled up my pen one night, of course with red ink. Wrote some stuff, went to sleep, woke the next morning, sat at my desk and looked down at my hand more alarmed than I want to admit. 🫠

So a strawberry basket is my temporary solution to my notebook problem.

In Which I Talk About My Ambitious Way to Tell a Story I think it's very clear that as a writer, I have my own drum and I beat it a little bit off-tempo.

I know when writers talk about writing process, they often delve into the steps they take for writing the story. I don't think they have worked out a method of storytelling that they want to work with and refine. Though, I'm an alien among writers.

I need organization for all the cute little notebooks I've accumulated and use. I also need to stop buying them and yet, I brought two more yesterday. I think I have a problem.

I'm going to write a longer rant when the show finishes running, but Murderbot on Apple TV isn't doing it for me. Oh, I have such a rant planned. I already scribbled down notes. As of right now every other sentence starts with "Why?"

Oh no. One of my favorite parts of books was the competency of the characters. Well, I guess it gives me fodder to write about on my Substack.

And that, honestly, is quite the biggest curse when you write outside of narrow lanes for the sake of marketing. Nothing really fits well. It's difficult to convey what your book, in this case, web serial is about without going through a full synopsis. #amwriting #writingcommunity

A tool may have suggested N.K. Jemisin's work but, I:
1. Never read anything she's written
2. I get the impression she writes, I suppose, along some of the same themes, but darker and is more aligned in the traditional space of fantasy. I'm not.

So in the journey to be able to tell other people what to expect when reading my work. Studio Ghibli is a solid description. I have no qualms over using it. So Claws of Ice Wings of Fire reads like a Studio Ghibli movie meets....and I don't have anything for that.

In my webserial, the inciting incident happens at the end of chapter 1. Then again, one could debate that what happen before the story starts is the inciting incident, as the story wouldn't happen if that didn't happen. So, any earlier, my inciting incident would be premature.

I always disagreed with people calling him a robot, but now, I seriously think he is. He's trying to turn the world into a robot society so he can create his robot utopia.

So I'm editing my MMC ranting a bit about his views on his society. The man is opinionated, and I've a bunch of negative gloom in my mind right now. Now, I'm trying to decide if I should be editing this rant of his. I practice tact bit, damn I don't feel like being tactful at the moment.
