PA OKs air permit for Homer City gas plant fueling data centers
The move accelerates a $10 billion redevelopment in Indiana County, as residents and environmentalists voice pollution, public health and grid strain concerns.
The DEP has approved an air permit for a proposed data center campus for Indiana County fast-tracking the project at an alarming rate. If built, this facility will be the largest fracked gas power plant in the nation.
