I seriously don’t understand their reasoning. They’ve had years to ban it, but have yet to do so. Who believes conversion therapy is a good idea?!?

Kentucky’s students deserve the very best to prepare them for bright futures, and today was a great step forward. I joined 1,600 incredible Woodford County students to cut the ribbon on their brand-new high school.

This is what investing in education looks like. Let’s keep going.

There’s about 1,700 people in my town of Midway, Kentucky. What brings us all together is not our differences, but instead what we can offer each other.

They taught me the power of community, hard work, and that everyone deserves a fair shot. I am beyond grateful to represent them.

Looks like this place isn’t going anywhere anytime soon, so let me introduce myself.

My name is Ian VanSteenbergh. On Election Night I made history. I’m an openly LGBTQ+, 21 year old Gen Z person in a small town of 1,700. And I won.

Young people, queer people, demand a seat at the table.
