So, I recently got a needle felting kit because @vahveroinen.bsky.social made an adorable Little Ica and I fell in love with the concept, and since I just finished a chapter I decided to treat myself to giving it a shot!

I am very, very bad at it but it is also great fun -

35 - man, that's hard to say because I'm in love with every nice thing anyone has ever said about my fics u_u I lose it over the really thoughtful/inquisitive ones who detail the things they like and why?

4 - I do tend to save them these days ... usually they end up languishing at the bottom of my document, or if I have a huge doc, they'll get a draft page. Not zc alas, but here's one of the scenes I deleted from my current dancae fic's most recent chapter 🫠

27 - I think if there's anything I'd like to be asked about, it's probably re: inspiration so I can gush about whatever art/music/writing was living in my head at the time. Honestly, I just get a little excited when anyone asks questions at all!

Usually I just make character/ship playlists instead, and I have an embarrassing number of those u_u

"am I even a real writer/artist?" are you writing? are you drawing? yeah? nice job then fucko, here's your membership card. just do your best. we're all doing our own thing, so just do yours. and shit right now is really stressful. you don't need to be on 100% of the time. but you're doing great.

and prone to making mistakes in judgement and perception -- idk I think it's a lot more fun!

18 - for POVs, I think most of the time they choose themselves, or else I go with who I feel is more relatable to write and read/who isn't full of universe-changing mysteries (hi zhongli). I like to preserve the sanctity of mysterious characters, and I like engaging with POVs that are half-informed

14 - it's kind of funny how when I immediately post, I look at it and feel so critical about everything, but if I come back a year later I'm like whoa who did this? This is my kind of food! Specifically, I really like that close-in POV I can't *not* do anymore, I like being in a char's head a lot.

30 - No. It feels like there should be, but looking over the list I feel ok w/the direction my fics went - or at least I never had a better idea hit? This would def be different if I ever wrote the big plotty things I obsess over and intimidate myself out of writing, but I just do the easy stuff lol

21 - I know there are things that I've tucked away, but the problem with having a goldfish memory is that I cannot remember a single one without rereading 🙃 I don't work toward easter eggs specifically, but if the opportunity arises I will absolutely take it!

5 - my title inspiration ... I usually know I'm about ready to post when I pull up genius and start looking at lyrics, because I am a creature of the old ways. occasionally poetry will pop in? iirc dick temple's formal title is a bastardization of a donna kelly line.
