There are some references to the previous games, mainly in the dialog :) Marianna explains some of the Dekker 1 lore so you don’t need to play one before the other - although it would show how much Marianna has changed!

We have a couple more roles to cast but they’re onscreen. As we put more of the game together we’ll see if there are any more opportunities for VO though :)

It can be really hard work at times, but it can also be very rewarding :)

Sorry to hear that :( We’ll test it again here, it should freeze and slowly play frame by frame backwards then forwards.

Accessibility is definitely one of the reasons, for consoles too. Poe and Munro had some quicktime events but you could disable it with freeze trackers. Pocket Dreadfuls was a game with more movement in it, but we had to shelve it for budget reasons. It would be fun to try all the things though!

There is no typing but it’s a mixture of branching (like Shapeshifting Detective) and asking questions by joining responses together. There’s no concept of “going green” but there are tons of responses to be found. It’s still all very fluid and unconstrained.

Doctor Dekker 2 invited its first new patient last week, Ophelia, a sculptor who sees more than meets the eye. Skilfully played by Sydney Skye - Ophelia is sure to keep your interest across over 600 filmed responses (almost twice the amount of an original Dekker patient!)

We know she’s been happily working a non-acting job since Poe and Munro but can’t really speak for her on future acting projects. Her co-star Klemens Koehring is definitely still “in the biz” though :)

Filming is now underway for Doctor Dekker 2! Marianna is back as your new assistant, who points you in the right direction most of the time 🐙🧜‍♀️

Most of our costumes are bought from local charity shops (reuse/recycle!) and we have mood boards for characters. We’ve loosely chosen different decades for Dekker 2 patients. We love using actors clothes when they bring them! There’s one more possible cameo to announce that should be familiar 😊

She’s one of the main roles so you’ll spend as much time with Marianna as the other patients :)
