I don’t write an outline for every story, but I always have a notes file. One thing I always do is character backgrounds and descriptions. Fleshing out characters helps me a lot when it comes to their speech and mannerisms in the story.

Had an interesting discussion about AI and the energy consumption issue. It’s not a big problem yet, but it will be. There are solutions on the horizon, big ones.

Been quite busy lately with life things, recently having surgery, resolving family issues, but am hoping to get back to normal soon.

Now that I’ve some time to reflect on it, I think it boils down to my love of hockey. I don’t want this to ruin the sport for both sides, on the NHL level (Olympics is a better stage I think for this or World Cup). It builds resentment, and maybe cause some other issues. All the best.

First story of the Norse saga I’m working on is almost finished. Not sure if I want to jump into the second “chapter” or do a round of editing on the first, once it’s completed.
