Took ages but I watched all of it. Very dark indeed, both visually and spiritually. But very beautiful game nevertheless. Well played!
Yes, I've heard other youtubers say the same. YouTube should take good care of their users. Not okay. ๐๐
Thank you! ๐ That book (The Vampire Lestat) was so slow but so beautifully written. Loved it!
Nรคcken? Yes ๐ It's Swedish folklore. A 'man' plays the violin on a rock in the middle of a river. Lures children into the river with music and they drown. The book is a retelling of it but for adults.

I finally finished reading The Vampire Lestat by Anne Rice tonight. I rated it four stars. A great book but a very slow read.
And, started to read a book in Swedish, called Nรคcken. ๐ฅฐ ๐๐
Thank you! I hope so too ๐

Saw someone reading a Freida McFadden book yesterday on the subway.
Have you read any of her books? What did you think of it/them? ๐๐
Exactly ๐ฅณ

15.02.2026 19:52 โ ๐ 6 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 0Sounds like a much better idea to read it alone, I did too ๐ Definitely one of the best books ever written. So I hope you'll read it this year ๐โค๏ธ
15.02.2026 11:34 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0She is enormous so I understand it's daunting and every translation is different too. So if you read it in a book club you need to make sure you all have the same copy, because the chapters aren't the same in different translations. For ex, you could be reading ch. 7 and that's ch. 8 in another book

No problem ๐
This has to have a solution. Have you tried short stories? Graphic novels? Manga? Audio books? ๐ฅน
DNF means Did Not Finish and means in my case that I started on five book but didn't finish reading anyone of them. They simply weren't for me. The Vampire Lestat seems like I'll finish, though. ๐
Have you tried rereading a book you have read previously and loved? ๐ โค๏ธ
Oooh I'm excited for Queen of the Damned. So glad it's great ๐ ๐
