We all know that you can’t even afford the office space and new equipment to set up two ergonomic work stations.

This is a bluster and a cheap negotiation ploy to balance the budget taking a DOGE shaped sledgehammer your workforce.

It’s about securing a childcare spot that they can pick up and drop off their kid while shifting their schedule later or earlier as needed. People have already secured times for the summer and the waitlist for new times is months out. That’s what they’re talking about.

It’s worth pointing out that all summer child care sign up dates are long past. It’s really easy to take a lunch break, grab the kids at 3 pm (which is when a lot of camps end the day) and finish work.

Extended care isn’t always available and adds expense if it does.

It’s so productive to incentivize workers to spend an hour every day walking across town to buy nasty Chipotle.

Not that we have any time or money to routinely do this with the insane cost of living.

This is just placing the financial burden on government workers.
