Laughing my ass off. I love my local art gallery/cafe, I mean I got married there but it doesn't suprise me that the works I submitted for a show themed around Persephone and the change of seasons didn't get accepted. Everything on the walls is floral and light and I submitted this:

I wanted to get the next chapter of The Lucent Grave done but work is about to become real messy and busy with someone quitting. Thankfully I know I'll get back to writing and editing when I'm at a place to.

As the colder weather is setting in I’m feeling the presence of Lilith once again and she’s asking to be drawn. My women of the wood, sister to her wolf siblings, Cassiopeia and Orion. I’m needing some witchy/etherial music to go along with my drawing process, recommendations??

I use csp on my iPad and I almost never touch procreate. The brushes always felt icky to me. Id rather pay like 30 bucks for a year for csp especially since they added the simple mode which is a simple ui space.

Thinking about TLT lesbian space disasters

I spent too long on this for it to turn out like this. Tried a different shading thing, won’t do that again, couldn’t figure out how to draw bone hand more grippy, not confident in my own art or characters
But despite all that I can tell myself at least I tried. I didn’t give up or resort to AI

Try new brushes or mediums. Hate some, keep some. Look at artists you love. Do a color challenge. Find out you hate orange. Go back to the basics. Put the pen down entirely for a day.

The point is to be kind to yourself and let yourself embrace change and fluctuations.
