sorry to vent about cuba again but it really is so frustrating to see people who don’t live in cuba or are not cuban say that this blockade and the active starving and prevention of healthcare in cuba is “necessary for regime change”

its so easy to say when you are not the one suffering

- children's development
- patients needing urgent care
- elderly

This is genocidal.

Your gentle reminder that rapist felon Trump is explicitly named as a rapist in the Epstein files and his government is so convinced of his "innocence" that they're still trying to prevent the truth from coming out.

Trump's delusional rantings for the day, sending a medical ship to Greenland to "take care of the many sick people," who apparently aren't included in their Universal Healthcare System.

So Governor of Louisiana Jeff Landry, who's state ranks dead last in health care for the past 4 years, is joining with Trump, who cut off ACA subsidies to millions, to send a medical ship to Greenland, a nation with universal health care, to "help their sick people".

And a reminder that in addition to Iran, the US is simultaneously using its military and other power to (1) strangle Cuba; (2) continue to repress daily life in Minneapolis; (3) illegally detain thousands across the country; and (4) implicitly aid Russia by using up/not giving Ukraine more hardware.

Humans continually run into them. Marines refer to bug hunts which have turned out to be xenos often. Hell, there’s whole black ops units dedicated to xenos depending on where in the timeline they fall.

Or did they use it on any space faring species? Xenomorohs crop up all around the galaxy. On many planets, usually during mining operations but almost always on dead worlds. In Out of the Shadows they even find an ancient dog like(think Anubis) civilization on lv178 that was destroyed by xenomorphs.

If it was for war, whom were they warring with? Where is that species? Why create or modify the xenomorphs for any other reason?

Why did engineers need a whole planet of hosts? The ship was loaded up and ready to drop a planets worth of toxic goo. Why infect your entire host planet? The engineers were clearly a well traveled species and yet in there’s very little evidence of them across the colonized worlds.

I legit forgot about the dna match. And how does Charlie not notice David keeping his finger out all weird until he puts the goo in his drink? That’s not a normal way to hold anything.

They stopped when they died from their own hubris. The same hubris the human have throughout aliens. Believing they can control this highly volatile species.

What if they were coming to earth to take hosts back to their lab? It’d be easy enough to get volunteers. Human were their guinea pigs. The paintings across many cultures and vastly different time spans would imply they came many times throughout history.

We assume they created the humans and the xenos but what if they didn’t? What if they are just genetically modifying what already existed and making themselves out to be gods? Any god like being, engineers would appear as such to early humans, could claim they created humans.

Alien lore, thoughts, musings, dump while watching Prometheus: did the engineers show up between dinosaurs and mammalians? Or are we assuming they begat all life on earth? Or are they responsible for only the humanoid species? Also are we sure they created any of it?

Their red wine with the lion(tiger? Big cat) is real good too. And that’s coming from a non red wine drinker. Super picky about my reds. Usually only buy them for cooking and then drinking the other half.
