SCI advances will take years but it’ll be good to get our bodies prepared to handle the difficulties that’ll come with learning to walk again. I wish the best for your family

Being paralyzed is not just being unable to walk, so taking care of skin, kidneys, bladder lungs ie. everything 😅 is essential. My PT has brought me to a level such that I am less of a burden and can do more on my own

My best friendly suggestion is to take it day by day. Instead of making walking the number 1 priority concentrate on PT & rehabilitation to get stronger and up the quality of life for today.

Hi there. Very sorry to hear about your BIL. I am a 63 year old C6 /7 incomplete quadriplegic. Paralyzed from chest down but recovered use of arms, hands, fingers. It’s been 3.5 years.
