Out of the blue, I had an odd urge last week to go to a Japanese tea garden in my city. It had been a while since we'd taken the kids out to do something, so we went there today and came across something, well, pretty weird. A peace pole, placed there on Oct 23rd 1987. Had a blast at the Kepler College 25th Anniversary Symposium. It was great to see old friends, hang out with Rick Levine and show off Nechepso. Also, I came in first place in the astro trivia competition and won this sweet mug, my chalice of triumph, my goblet of victory.

We saw it on the same day we went out on a financial limb for our respective projects. It didn't feel ominous, it felt momentous. Hope you're right about the meaning of the eagle!

"Maybe this is another one of our animal eclipse omens" I said. A second later, the eagle crossed in front of the sun as its shadow fell over us.

My 9-year old daughter Joy is having a hell of a 10th house profection. She is a crazy talented artist and did all of the illustrations for my wife's (@watsonfinastro.bsky.social) new book on the lunar mansions. Very proud.

That has really interesting implications - almost half the year you might have a particular natal position getting hit repeatedly by new moons in different ways. Great catch OP
