AND even if this article doesnt match the expectations and standards of the Peer Reviewers - well I will retain copyright to do what I want with it on my YouTube channel. I will be asking the author for a chat.

Today I am thankful that at the end of a challenging revision and rewrite of my big article on valkyries and Brynhild in Fantasy fiction, I discover not only a book that represents ALL of it (thanks @louiestowell.bsky.social! I mic dropped it in my conclusion) BUT also found @valsif.bsky.social 🫂

I have resubmitted a completely rewritten, revised and more focused article for academic publication after 3 weeks of dedicated effort. So I finally find my days off free to play games over on Twitch (uploaded later to YouTube). Help me decide which one to play this Thursday morning!

Had a really good Mentoring meeting with Chris at Kirklees Local TV about my podcast plans and challenges.
It has felt liberating to really deep dive into my ideas and hopes, with someone who understands the time and skill needed for such content creation.

The book has arrived and thus I can begin taking a deep dive into the historical fact behind the drama of King & Conqueror - as I prep for a special bonus episode with the author, Sharon Bennett Connolly.

And yes, this the only neutral way I am going to connecting with King & Conqeror series.

Delighted to share the word that my academic friend Alberto has had his fascinating research published in a book titled "The Representation of Vikings in Cinema and Television."

We have recently finished reading Dogman and Catkid, plus Donut Squad World with my 4 year old daughter. She loved Dogman, and found the Donuts very funny. Me and husband enjoyed putting on voices for every character.
