After seeing photos of how heavy I was during the production of FAIRY DUST, I made quite a few lifestyle/eating changes and 4 months later, I'm already down nearly 30 pounds. I've got 35 more to go to hit my first goal weight, and then another 20 after that for the ultimate weight I'm aiming for.

Officially starting in on plotting this b/w horror movie idea. It’s a spiritual sequel to BLACK KISS STIGMATA, a bit of VIDEODROME meets THE EMPTY MAN with the aesthetics of 80s industrial music.

Josephine is adorned with all sorts of fx makeup and jewelry in a horizontal photo that is framed from the chest up. She has a prosthetic brow piece applied, wears green contacts, and very long pointed elf ears, decorated with gold piercings. She wears a long auburn braided wig - two braids framing the sides of her face, but with most of the hair swept back behind her. She has golden spiky epaulettes, and gold leaf through her hair and on her brow. Golden makeup contours and textures her skin as well. The hue of the entire photo is bathed in golden light, and the wall behind Josephine is golden as well. Josephine’s body is in profile, with her right shoulder to the back wall, and her face turning towards camera.

I used to model for my good friends at hawgfly fx every @monsterpalooza.bsky.social when I first arrived in LA and they always made me feel SO magical 😭
There were a series of seasonal elves they designed and applied - this was the Summer Elf ✨

Responses from industry friends are coming in for DESOLATION HEART and so far everyone has had some extraordinarily kind things to say about our film with a lot of love being given to Agnes Born for her intense performance. Pretty proud of my entire team on this one.

Oh shit. Jeffrey's an old friend of mine from my LA days. I hope he nails that stupid fuck to the wall.

Headed out of the country for most of March for a bit of a self-imposed writing retreat. Should also be getting decisions in from several funding bodies on my current slate of projects as well as hitting more festival sub deadlines for DESOLATION HEART.

It sure seems like when we have our basic needs met, and don't have to hustle to survive, humans will almost always choose to create art.

And there is a lot of evidence that when a society decides to honor and promote art and artists, everyone who lives there is measurably happier.

Updating my reel and had reason to rewatch this moody short I shot a few years ago in Dartmoor with Soja. I am forever floored by the incredibly powerful vocal performance by Annabella Rich who narrates the piece.
