It’s a bit like the PM might, just might, be drip-feeding us information to try to minimise our involvement.

"Defensive strikes" is it now?
Excellent.
At least I can now take all of the icecream to prevent it being misappropriated.

You take care and have a nice, if short, rest.

This is your daily reminded that the actions of a state administration are not the same as the actions of that state's population.

Well there we go.

That said, I don’t want to get rid of speed cameras and I would prefer to see many, many more of them.

*Some* drivers don’t but others do.

I want everyone to use the roads with care and consideration for others; there’s plenty of room for all of us.
I might come across as odd but I rather like 20mph limits.

There will be no Reform UK government as Wales and Scotland, probably NI too, will roundly reject them. Hopefully England will too.

And where exactly do all the British emigrants go when they have to come back here?

They pioneered the asymmetric rear wing for left-handed circuits.

Nah, it’s Jeremy Beeton the F1 world champion for Brawn.

01.03.2026 16:20 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Isn’t that David Cameron?

01.03.2026 14:41 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Jeremy Beeton I presume?

What the party which for purely historical reasons calls itself β€œLabour” needs is some socialists and fewer Tories in its ranks.

Indeed.

Where did US aircraft fly from for this morning’s little attack?

I wonder if that is related to the Heather ale I had in Glasgow in 2008?

A bit of work but you’ll only need to do it once and it could be just a couple of feeders if you wanted, or perhaps also a rotator control cable setup too.

26.02.2026 22:22 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

2/2 You can then connect anything you like to either end and it should all be secure, weatherproof and sealed.

26.02.2026 22:21 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

I have done a reasonable similar setup with a tube let into a hole in the wall with half a dozen feeder stubs installed between the caps. A neat weatherproof box on the outside and with a patch plate, arrestors and suitable ground bonding. Inside is a tidy box with a smaller patch plate. 1/2

26.02.2026 22:19 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

I haven’t done this at home for a while but it somewhat depends how the setup is intended to be used. For work it is a purpose designed wedge plate to pass the cables through, with all cables internally going to an earth-bonded plate where arrestors are installed. A sparks should assist on this.

I’m now really very confused.

No phone call is so important that they can’t call again.

The R15 is a fine performer (I have had three across my bench for testing) so if it covers the frequencies and modes you want then I can recommend it.

No, the reason he was arrested is that the police believe they have evidence which supports the allegation. The arrest may have been brought forward because there was a report that he may have been planning to flee but the reason for the arrest is the evidence.

The R1 and R2 suffered with lacklustre intermod perform r and got a bit noisy in RF-busy locations. The R3 and onward were much improved and the R6 I have (and forgot about!) is really quite good in this regard.

I have also found the VS3 Bluetooth headset to be excellent and might get myself one of the new replacements soon.

25.02.2026 10:56 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

I’ve been tempted by one but I can’t really justify it as I have an R30, two AR8000, an IC-R7000 and a Yaesu (!) VR5000 already!
