Every year or two I tend to go back to it. I don't always complete it, but the brief nostalgia trip is nice.

I may not be a game dev, but I used to mess around in Game Maker back in the early 2000s.
I've always enjoyed the simplicity but optional strategy of the first Paper Mario game. If I ever start making games, that'd be the type of magic I would want to capture!

The world moved so fast that almost everything I learned throughout school (except history) was functionally useless and out of date by the time I was out of university.
