The LOTRO symbol of the Mariner shows the hilt of what is probably a cutlass (most of the blade cannot fit in a circular icon). The only text on the image reads "Mariner".

I stumbled on something about #FFXIV and "Wind and Waves" and a "Corsair" rumour.

Some people made one connection...but I thought straight away of @officiallotro.bsky.social whose storyline is "The Song of Waves and Wind" and they sport the unusual class of Mariner.
