This is why the #Arkansas Democrats need to quit wringing their hands and do the work. If the party can’t identify and support candidates with a genuine chance of winning, then maybe the party needs new leadership. Washington isn’t the only place with ineffectual Democrats.

The Democratic Party in Arkansas likes to nominate aspirational candidates with little chance of defeating established Trump Cult players. This cycle has some great notable exceptions but for the most part the candidates don’t perform well outside of their silos. Thirty percent isn’t a good showing.
