A couple years ago, there was an article in the NYT, about how NJ had legalized sports betting but NY hadn’t and so NYers were biking to the middle of the GWB to be legally in NJ to place bets. This is when I realized this whole thing might be a problem. www.nytimes.com/2021/10/10/s...

Millions across the US are struggling with gambling addiction—and for every person is a universe of loved ones also hurt by this addiction.
Today I stood with some of these families to spotlight the real, human harm caused by rampant, unchecked sports gambling and what Congress must do to stop it.
