The Pathfinder adaptations by Owlcat are pretty good! They diverge a bit from the source material, but most home tabletop sessions do to a degree as well.

I've also found characters are a great way to explore new ways of thinking I'm not yet aware of. It seems every time I try out a new character in DnD, or do background research to roleplay them for players, I discover a new headspace and point of view. Being them broadens what I am.

Real people are too big and undefined to fit in a single characterization I think. Best we can hope for is to have fun displaying some roughly self consistent faces among countless within us.

For all the stuff they do way better than MFF, there were a few improvements that could be made in my opinion. Last minute schedule changes and early closings of things left planning in disarray at times. The closing off of the center to fursuit handlers during the parade wasn't a great idea.
