The worst about going on leave even if it's only for 3 days is coming back to 70+ emails and lots of work. Id like to log off and go on leave again asap because of this 😭

The view is the reward, the chicken sandwich is just the bonus prize.

It was absolutely far better than I expected and there was so much to see.

Out of all the interesting things I saw and facts I learned in Bletchley Park, I gotta say meeting and petting Vera the cat was definitely the highlight.

I booked an appointment for tomorrow to get a new pair and managed to tape the lens back in as a quick fix to tie me over until I get new ones. I mean I was due to get a new pair anyway for the last few years.

5.30am, had my bedroom window slightly open but the window blew it back. Went to close it and accidentally dropped my glasses out the window breaking them. Outside in the dark with flashlight looking for them and the lens with shit eyesight and can't find backup pair. Fml

I was soooooo exhausted from that trip I literally slept most of today and now it's after 11pm and I'm up buzzing with energy 😞

Got home to my own house a few minutes ago, absolutely wrecked but had a fun trip. Photos will be uploaded tomorrow

Flight's delayed so got myself a strawberry matcha latte from black sheep coffee and I stg it's the second time ive had matchas from there and they do the best ones so far. A pity there's none in Dublin though.

Anyways the plan is to go back to bletchley park tomorrow as once you have your ticket you can get unlimited entry for a year as I have 75% more of it to see.

I was only there for 2 and a half hours though I really should have gone earlier.

Went to bletchley park today but also had a ticket for the computing museum next door so spent more time there today instead. Got to see the colossus and bombe machines as well as lots of other computers. Very cool would 10/10 recommend.

This is a rare occurrence that my Garmin is being empathetic about my constant lack of sleep. Usually it tells me no naps today

I'm in Milton Keynes, it's giving north American street vibes as it doesn't feel like anywhere else in the UK I've been and well I got to visit a props museum but they only allowed to take photos of only a select few props.

Walked all the way to Morrisons earlier for their blueberry and apple still water only to find out they no longer carry it. That was my favorite 😭

Tell me why is there a massive queue outside pizza hut for the buffet since noon today? Anyways I had it and it slapped (probably because I had been up since 4.30am and didn't have anything to eat at the airport)

As I don't think I'll be able to have/access pancakes today I decided to treat myself to one of those fine pastries from the coffee shop across from the office. Absolutely delicious, probably even better than any pancake I could have had instead.

It's 2am, I should have been asleep 2 hours ago yet the club remix tunes have never been so appealing to bop to (with earphones on ofc) not sure where I got this boost of energy from but yet here we are.

Little man seems to have changed his schedule, usually before he'd be at the window only in the evenings looking for treats. Now he only seems to come around during daylight hours and only if it's not pissing outside. The betrayal, I thought we were nocturnal buddies 😞

Whenever a pet adoption page comes up on social media with a photo and bio of a cute cat I get sad knowing I can't adopt it (or any pets as I'm house sharing) and only hope it will find the best home soon where it can live happily ever after.

I have like a shit load of work tasks to get done before I log off and it's already 5pm, mainly because I've been procrastinating all day. If only I had the cop on to out down the phone tbh...

Got some cheese khinkali in the Georgian place in Moore street mall earlier and let me tell you, there's a very good reason that place is absolutely packed. There was a 45 minute wait for my takeaway order (I just got 4 of them) because they were so run off their feet. The food slaps even when cold

It's been nearly 30 years and I can still smell the strawberry one. Key memory unlocked.

I just watched fear and loathing in las Vegas and all I can say is I don't know what the plot is about apart from drugs, drugs and more drugs.

That being said she said she had a good day out anyways just it wasn't nearly as good as she thought it would be. I was there only once before many years ago and thought it improved since then.

I met my mum today in kildare village (shopping outlets focusing mainly on designer stuff) cos she had always been going on about wanting to go there as she heard so much about it. She didn't end up getting anything there and said it was overrated and she'd prefer Tesco or dunnes for clothes 🤣
