Itβs absolutely wild that impeachment isnβt the number one priority for Democrats during the midterm elections. Trump should be impeached for just associating with Epstein.
What a bunch of cowards.

During a trailblazing public service career, Avel Gordly worked to improve police accountability, mental health treatment and the lives of disadvantaged Oregonians. She died Monday of natural causes.

Rev. Jesse Jackson dedicated his life to expanding who gets to belong in American democracy.
From civil rights to economic justice, he challenged power and widened the path for Black Americans. May we honor his legacy not just with words, but by continuing the work. www.nbcnews.com/news/obituar...
Nothing pisses me off more than a person who will never admit they were wrong. Case in point, your cover photo.

would like to shout out two portland dem candidates Iβm really excited about this year:
- dr tammy carpenter @oregontammy.bsky.social in HD27
- john βwazβ wasielewski wazfororegon.com in HD38
both could actively use donations and volunteers! tammy is doing canvasses now and waz is starting soon
You're ignoring the other link. You're moving the goal post after being shown you were wrong. Thousands of cities have PB. Please have a little humility sometimes.
17.02.2026 06:00 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0First, do you think that proportional representation is the end-all be-all expansion of democracy? Have you read the proposal yet? To answer your question, this gives the people the decision-making power on how to spend a small portion of THEIR money. Many cities in the U.S. have some form of PB.
17.02.2026 05:45 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0You're right, I let it get personal. My bad.

Read 'em and weep. Over 1,500 municipalities. Over 7,000 public budgets globally and over 100 in the US, including NY and Chicago. JFC.

God forbid we expand democracy in Portland! π
Please read what the @your2centspdx.bsky.social campaign is actually proposing. The people can fund the programs they want. Thousands of municipalities around the globe have a participatory budgeting process. Itβs not new. Portland is behind the curve.
Please donβt listen to Terry. This is participatory budgeting. It has nothing to do with funding the police.
17.02.2026 02:47 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0This is participatory budgeting. The people will get to submit projects and the people will choose how to spend this money by popular vote. I know everyone behind this campaign and this has nothing to do with funding more police.
17.02.2026 02:46 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This is embarrassing, Terry. Itβs an open and transparent process decided by the people. Youβre becoming more and more irrelevant with every post.

I'm disappointed to hear this kind of behavior coming from Councilor Koyama-Lane's office.
Sprout is someone I know personally, whom I met on the campaign trail. I trust her complaints are legitimate. The city needs to investigate this matter fully.
On a pink background with hearts and roses, blue text reads: "roses and red, violets are blue, universal preschool helps dreams come true! Sign our new petition to show your love for preschool for all!" At the bottom is the friends of preschool for all logo and the tag line "Let's Grow Multnomah County!"
Multnomah County is on track towards a full rollout of free preschool for every kid, with good pay for every teacher. No income or immigration status checks! All abilities, home languages, and workday schedules welcome! #LetsGrowMultnomahCounty #PreschoolforAll #FullyFundPreschoolforAll
