Many younger eyes view r/FF7Rebirth. The game is rated T for teen, so many eyes could end up landing here. Many of them being underage. To keep from any situations that lead to these younger eyes visiting any NSFW subs resulting from a "cosplay" post here. We have decided to not allow cosplay at all from this point forward. This kind of thing is so… baffling to me. It’s an algorithmic problem with Reddit but it’s also just frustrating that cosplay is seen as inherently sexual or a pipeline to pornography, AND held to a double standard that illustrated fanart isn’t.

You‘re not a better person or a bigger fan or whatever just because you don‘t draw/look at/enjoy nsfw. It‘s fine to not like it but the moral high ground some people put themselves on over this and looking down on people who enjoy nsfw calling them „degenerated“ etc. is just dumb as hell.

With the current censorship situation & the rise of puritanism I just want to say that one thing that‘s been really annoying me for years now is the growing number of people who act like you can‘t appreciate a character and their lore as much as „pure fans“ just because you draw nsfw of them.
