I'm thinking I'll revisit the idea of having my own website. Or maybe I'll just get a Bear Blog and start writing there.

Then again, maybe I won't do any of that and just won't contribute to the internet community at all.

Maybe if I find a way to use BlueSky for myself, in a way that makes me feel comfortable here - I'll come back. But for now - this is how it's gonna be.

For now, I'm NOT going to delete my BlueSky account. But I won't be logging on here. And obviously not on other social media either. I'll try to block them on all my devices.

I originally started drawing pixel art for one reason - game dev. I couldn't find an artist to partner with, so I started doing everything myself.

Turns out, I'm not making games either. But that's a whole other story.

For over a year now, I've been trying to draw with on-and-off success and... I hate the process. It's no fun at all. It feels like I'm forcing myself to do it. Just because "you gotta finish what you start," blah, blah, blah.

It's time to sell my Wacom.

Looks like I can't draw anymore after all. I'm not a pixel artist now.

Okay, you're right, it does sound like an ADHD symptom. 🫩

ADHD obviously makes things worse in this case. But I don't think that's really what this is about. My question is more about whether it's worth finishing something you've already started if it now feels like a waste of time and "I could be doing something more productive."

It's been a week since I said I was going to delete my social media accounts. Including BlueSky.

I'm saying it again, for the last time: if anyone wants to stay in touch OFF this platform (like on a messenger app) - send me a DM or leave a comment.

I'm deleting my account in a week.

How do you know when you should keep going with something, and when it's time to just stop? 😑
