His aesthetic is just so incredibly *chefkiss*, it’s perfect

A tired-looking Hyune reclines in a chair with his feet propped on the desk, gazing up at a wall of glowing monitors. Behind him, the broken husks of mechanical sentries lie scattered, clear signs of a violent break-in. He speaks over comms with a client, their exchange tense over assignments and pay. The negotiation is abruptly cut short as the connection drops, and intruder alarms flare to life across the building.

Deep in his underground clinic, Doc. Hex works a bullet out of a young man’s arm, amused at how such wounds are now considered mundane. He teases the patient for screaming through the procedure, then half-heartedly apologizes for skipping painkillers, as the kid's payment couldn’t cover them. The youth still thanks him, admitting he knows Hex runs no charity. Hex muses bitterly about his life as a wanted man, forced into clandestine medicine by a criminal charge, though he admits he’d like better futures for smart kids like him. The young patient smirks, replying that he’d rather "live in the truth" of the underground than choke on the illusion of peace above.

Hex warns the young man to be careful with his ideals, lest they get him killed. The patient thanks him, promising not to return too soon. At the door, he asks if Hex will visit his family now that he has some credits saved. The doctor hesitates before quietly admitting that he finally has enough for a "ride", the word carrying a trace of mistery.

"... However, should I transgress this Oath and violate it, may the opposite be my fate."

Gently handing small snippets. The Azou-Haurchefant dynamic at the beginning was a little tense, much due to this elezen being a bit of an arrogant and angsty prick.
