2oz Plymouth Gin
1/4oz Elderflower Liquer
1/4oz Grenadine
2 dashes orange bitters
Add ingredients to a mixing glass, stir with ice, and strain over a large cube of ice.

Havenβt posted here in a while, but hoping to get back into the habit starting with these humming birds from a couple of weeks ago. I think these are my favorite garnishes I have ever made.
The cocktail was an Elder Fashioned riff with a little bit of grenadine.

If youβre ever in DC, I highly recommend Silver Lyan! Really creative menu, fantastic drinks, and super friendly staff. This was my first drink: spirit forward, but a little tart, a little savory, and the candied pinecone was a nice touch! #cheers πΈ

3/4 oz Lemon Juice

Directions
Dry shake, then shake with ice

Hey thanks for the feedback! Yea, let me see what I can do to make this easier to follow. Iβve thought about a longer form version where I can actually explain, give tips, etc., but the 60sec limit makes that tough and I donβt really want to send people off app to YouTube or something like that..

It lacks a bit of the roundness and orange notes from the Nonino that complement the Aperol so well, and the anise notes from the Chartreuse are pretty pronounced in the finish and just feel a little out of place.

For this one Iβd recommend making the garnish before you build your drink. If you let the peel dry out a little bit, it will naturally twist up a little more and hold its shape better.
