The bar could certainly leverage the power of the bar to rein in the lawyers ("where were the lawyers?") through complaint by attorney or citizen, review of same and discipline unto disbarment. This is a low cost, low bar to participation, potentially effective tool we all have.

When I was a Hill staffer in 2009, a Dem trifecta was trying to pass universal healthcare. In response, Senate GOP released a memo detailing all of the tactics they in the minority could use to delay the effort as much as possible. I'm recirculating that 2009 GOP memo here. Ive said this before. Unions have a moment in time to create parallel, Non Profit Trust or Associated Health Plans and
offer them to small to medium size businesses.

Unions can negotiate far better than SMBs or associations .
