End of third month of my #StargateRewatch - now on s9 ep 1 of SG-1 - 51st DVD of 96. Ben Browder joins the cast. This actually feels more like the pilot of a spin-off show, and no worse for that. The Goa'uld storyline naturally ran its course, and the Ori are (if anything) a scarier foe.

Calling yourself a "creative" makes it clear that you think everyone else isn't. It's very rare to meet someone who doesn't have some creative talent.

First had it pointed out to me by my wife who got very angry while we were looking at The Great Tapestry of Scotland. The posh blokes who did the art that the tapestry was based on were the creatives, the (mainly) women (mainly) working class embroiderers who did the work were the craftspeople.

Also the huge class correspondences of the word - a lot of creative working class people have roles that are labelled technical or crafts - middle- / upper-class people commandeer the word "creative" as a noun to label their role.
