An image of the Tyrell Corporation headquarters, manufacturers of the replicants in Blade Runner. their slogan is More Human than Human. I suppose not the off-shoot of the crisp manufacturer ... but you never know.
Maybe time to start diversifying www.perspectivemedia.com/tyrrells-veg...

Hannah Spencer: the Green MP speaking to everyday peopleβs frustrations
Winner of Gorton and Denton byelection was driven into politics by growing gap between super-rich and the βrest of usβ
The small, brave band of MPs who represent the trampled, not the tramplers, has a very welcome new member.
We should all ask ourselves why, in a supposed democracy, such representatives are so rare.

Attaching a wooden nose that grows when you lie - brilliant idea. Fit one to trump and it would be such a massive carbon sink it'd solve global warming.

Though straight after posting that I started cooking. The ringpull came off the tin i was opening and the tin opener wouldn't connect. My creative solution involving a chisel and a mallet led to me and the kitchen now being covered in chopped tomatoes. So maybe I'm not the best judge of creativity.

Calling yourself a "creative" makes it clear that you think everyone else isn't. It's very rare to meet someone who doesn't have some creative talent.

First had it pointed out to me by my wife who got very angry while we were looking at The Great Tapestry of Scotland. The posh blokes who did the art that the tapestry was based on were the creatives, the (mainly) women (mainly) working class embroiderers who did the work were the craftspeople.

Also the huge class correspondences of the word - a lot of creative working class people have roles that are labelled technical or crafts - middle- / upper-class people commandeer the word "creative" as a noun to label their role.

Black and white photo of a tabby cat in full BrΓΌnhilde gear (winged helmet, breast plate of armor) staring off camera. Presumably toward some early 20th century churro-type treat.

Noel Neill as Lois Lane in Superman (1948)
It's good to read that Margot Kidder is doing well - and no diss intended to her - but the "original" Lois Lane? How poorly do these journos do their research? Or evem just pay attention to the world around them?
www.msn.com/en-gb/entert...
The Noel Neill side-eye is very appropriate here.

Year nine children to be offered vaccinations
Schools in Wolverhampton are inviting parents to sign their children up for vaccinations.
It's disappointing (and dangerous) that this is an opt-in process rather than opt-out. Default should be that children get vaccinated _unless_ parents object. Some won't be bothered, and if the child is pro-vaccine and the parents aren't, they can just not tell them www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

End of the second month of the #FullStargateRewatch Disc 31 of 96. A month ago I'd made it to Disc 12 of 86, but since then I've bought both seasons of SGU. This is season 6 ep 1 of Stargate SG1 - Redemption.
