Frustrating when public servants are stuck in a system that doesn’t value their hard work especially during a shutdown. Tim & others need to remember that their decisions impact real people. We need leaders who don’t trade promises for nothing especially at the expense of the people they represent.

For too long, women have been ignored and dismissed when speaking out about abuse. No one would subject themselves to that kind of scrutiny if it weren’t the truth. It’s time we start believing and supporting survivors not silencing them.

Senate votes to block tariffs on Brazil. It shows some pushback to Trump trade policy The legislation would terminate the national emergencies that Trump has declared to justify the tariffs. Kaine is planning similar resolutions applying to Trump's tariffs on Canada and other nations.

I'm not sure any one nation's actions will set a precedent, but this certainly sends a message to despots like tRump and Orban. That's why tRump is acting so ridiculously toward Brazil and damaging global trade for no reason. And why the republicans are scheming to tamper with the 2026 elections.

The pushback on Trump’s tariffs shows there's still resistance to his reckless global policies. His actions reflect his fear of accountability and it's up to us to continue fighting for global stability and holding leaders like him accountable.
