Yeah, I came back since I deleted my account but don't understand why. Even if I can't get big wins, it's still silly and delightful

I've had two instances where I had to speech-check my way out of a fight with someone as they were deadset in believing I was there to rob them

My biggest beef with the game at the moment is Light shields being the equivalent level of protection as to putting a sheet of wet cardboard over yourself. It's comical how having two pebbles thrown at you is enough to bring it to depletion

I've noticed with Arc Radiers that trios are more or less a guarantee to get utterly whomped by people with the highest tier gear; duos and solos seems to have people more spread out, and by extension, more concerned with just finding what they need and booking it while fighting bots, not others

So I think my anti-depressants needed a long while to really ‘sink in’ with my brain. I’m still having dark days, but they’re less frequent and not -nearly- as debilitatingly paralyzing

9 Kings is really shaping up to be a gem of a game. With every update, the dev(s) are knocking out more and more improvements and ways to make things more fun and better to play; King of Spells getting some buffs was very welcome

Tried a few trios rounds in Arc Raiders, and the legend of the community being primarily PvE is buuuuuuuulloney. 7/8 trios we ran into decided that they wanted our internal organs on the outside, with one of them sounding like a reject Call of Duty lobby circa 2006

They also delisted the original game and the 'loyalty discount' for owning the original is nowhere in sight. Holy hell, -fuck- Paradox

I shouldn't be surprised that Paradox relaunched Surviving Mars at close to full price, but having the gall to effectively look like a reskin with no apparent changes from the original is apalling

It's also still baffling/fascinating to see people at max level or near max level and play it like it's the original Doom: Ranged at all times, even when against a crowd. And in the off-chance they do go melee, they're allergic to guarding or pushing

Yeah, I mainly went for melee psyker before with Scrier's Gaze since I liked having a 'go wild go crazy' button, but now it's feeling like I'm a bit sturdier and can tango with beefier specials; the greatsword has been RAD, also, it wasn't in the game before my break from it (I think)

I'm leveling psyker in Darktide, and I'm noticing that compared to before, I'm not eating the ground as much as I used to. Either they got tweaked or it's just my skills sharpening, but dueling hordes used to be a death sentence for me as psyker; now, I can take on crowds easily (without lightning)

It's mainly that it's a bad look and in certain ways distasteful; the creator and supporters of it considering their AI-generated stuff to be superior to Studio Ghibli's

Tried the demo to Service with a Shotgun and it's alright, but it's more 'hollow' than the trailer led me to believe. The shop defense and shop management is a lot of point n' click without much though, and dialogue options are memory tests rather than being responses

Was about to try the demo to The Last Caretaker, but the trailer showed diving into the sea and my thalassophobia flared up like no tomorrow. Might have to see if diving deep is a requirement to progress the game, because if it is, I'd have to pass

Unless a signal appears near your cursor, you're all but guaranteed to lose it by the time the ping cooldowns lets you move the triangulation dots over to it. And somehow, the cooldown upgrade isn't helping to speed that up

I better understand the disdain for Voices of the Void's 0.9 build; pinging for signals is now teeth-pulling. Ping cooldowns were already silly before, so having it needing multiple pings just to locate a signal, triangulate and then LOSE it is maddening
