Dude would have told Martin we gotta stop the bus boycott after a month. Probably still shops at Target. Straight up scab energy would have told everyone to stop picketing for better working conditions after a week.

Voting to fund the government means you voted to fund everything the government is doing. That's the whole point. It's not about some narrow this or that on the margins. You own the whole enchilada, you're saying "yes, this overall package for everything the government's doing is acceptable to me."

Tonight’s Senate vote on the federal government shutdown should have been a time for strength.

Instead we saw capitulation and a betrayal of working Americans.
