Born and raised in Wisconsin , now I live right next door. Spent 30 years in Florida, starting when Walkin’ Lawton Chiles was running the joint. Hoping both places that I was once upon a time proud to call home come through for themselves and their nation today.

Just signed the closing papers on a house today. I’m simultaneously happy and terrified. I’m not a first time home owner, but I’ve never had a big obligation in such a time of turmoil. Scary stuff, but trying to find something else affordable was not happening.
