Am sharing here our work showing that during #Xenopus tail regeneration, tissue stiffening activates a Piezo1-Yap1 mechanosensitive cascade to allow wounded epithelia to transit into regenerative states!

12/14 This is not a thoroughly solved problem, though! Technical hurdles (segmentation errors) and biological reality (overlapping but noisy phenotypes) remain challenges. The next frontier is integrating dynamic data with molecular profiles (from e.g., spatial transcriptomics).
