Whether he knows it or not, having a messy but ultimately sweet and healthy relationship is one of the most human things out there. The conflict they experience at first before getting along better and better over time is definitely my favorite part of it, especially because I’ve been in that situation myself. Being a die-hard mecha fan, liking Keebo was a no-brainer, but his interactions with Shuichi gave me a chuckle every time. They're really sweet together, with an awe-inspiring sense of justice between them, and when all they want is the best for those around them, I think they'd be hard-pressed to find better than in each other! What do you like about Saiibo?: I feel like both of them are pretty clever individually, but when they are together their intelligence is definitely less than the sum of their parts. It didn’t feel like it was in my fingers, but some hand injuries can be deceptive that way. It’s probably in the wrist, or maybe the lower arm. I don’t want it to be the wrist, though. A bad wrist injury can cost a piano player her whole career! What if I can’t play ever again? I’m not ready for my life to be over at 17! I’m distracted from my thoughts as Owari wraps her arms around me and hefts me into the air. I let out a yelp of surprise. I knew she was strong, but not that strong. Wow. If it wasn’t for the circumstances, I would be kind of swooning right now. Owari frowns at my right arm, the injured one, her head tilting. “Looks like a scrape to me…?” she says, sounding confused. “You can kinda just rub dirt on those, Hakama.” Hakama? What does she mean, Hakama…? …Wait, that’s not my name! That’s not even a name!
