I don’t doubt that, I know very well that denuvo is a massive performance cost for fairly negligible sales gains, but the REengine’s issues with CPU performance run deeper than just denuvo implementation. It is still a factor though and I can’t wait for when it’s inevitably removed in a few years

Benchmark tool is nice, but GPU performance wasn’t really the issue with the beta. From my testing and other data I’ve seen, the beta was too CPU-intensive and basically only the 7800x3d was getting good performance. Same situation as DD2. Please prioritize CPU optimization.

Finally, and this is fairly obvious, but this is a shitty thing to do. DS3 holds up just fine visually, aside from some low res texture work that is fixed with a simple upscale. I wouldn’t recommend buying the remaster, just get the OG. It’s not even 10 years old.

Second, people wondering why they skipped over DS2, didn’t remaster that:

DS2 DID get remastered. It’s called Scholar of the First Sin. Went from 30fps to 60fps, and improved the lighting.

Dark Souls 3 supposedly getting a remaster, a couple thoughts on that:

First and foremost, buy the original now. If you want to experience the intended directorial vision of the game, you need to buy the OG now before it gets delisted like PTDE.
