Left hand held horizontally over screen with 5 lines of highlighted text. Length of highlighted lines matches hand, with three progressively longer lines - pinky to middle finger - then a slightly shorter line, pointer - then shortest like the thumb.

Weird tic I’m just now, today, 100% conscious of: when I click and drag highlights when reading web articles (aware of this tic already) - I’m trying to match the line lengths to finger lengths. I find it very satisfying, and having realized it - I’ve been doing it forever. 🤷‍♀️

Happy New Year! Lots of the news is whatever, but 2024 pulled out the apology stops and since November I’ve got a new job (starting tomorrow!), a brand new house for February, family and friends nearby, and just a whole lot of goodness to get the year started ☺️
