So there it is — your 2025 AREA 506 Festival 10th Anniversary lineup. Get ready for three exciting days of music, culture, and goods. Early Bird passes are on sale NOW, but only for a limited time. Grab them while you can!

Last but definitely not least, we've got The Last Call, a four-piece band from right here in Saint John. They're hard at work on their first full-length album, set to drop this year. Catch them on Friday, August 1st!

You made it. We. are. PUMPED. to welcome the band that put Canadian post-hardcore on the map: Alexisonfire! After calling it quits in 2011, they reunited and made their comeback in 2015. Now, these hardcore legends are taking the stage to shut down Saturday night on August 2nd.

Next up is New Brunswick’s The Kingston Collective. They'll hit the stage early on Friday, August 1st. Known for high-energy performances that are a tonne of fun, they blend rock, pop, funk, reggae, and more, creating a unique sound that’s all their own.

Rising star Maggie Andrew has racked up 6M+ streams and some major wins, including the 2024 CBC Searchlight contest, an ECMA for African Canadian Artist of the Year, ANSMA Artist and Album of the Year, and more. She’ll be here on Sunday, August 3rd.

Earlier that day, we’ll welcome best buds Ura Star & Fireball Kid. Refocusing indie pop through a blurry DIY lens, they've gone from backing punk bands in YSJ to forging their own path(s) as rowdy party pop boys in Montreal.

As we celebrate festival 10, we couldn’t think of a better way to close out the weekend than with AREA 506 alums - and BIG supporters - Arkells. With more Juno wins for Group of the Year (SIX!) than any other band, they’re set to bring it all to the stage for a rare three-peat on Sunday, August 3rd.

But the party doesn’t stop there! Earlier that day, we’ve got BAIE, Acadian pop-disco with harmonies smoother than a ‘70s playlist. Think ABBA meets Fleetwood Mac with a touch of Earth, Wind & Fire. If you needed a sign to wear the sequins: THIS IS IT.

With over 70 million streams worldwide and multiple platinum-certified singles, Ria Mae's music has dominated Canadian radio charts. Expect to hear some familiar hits from this 506 favourite when she returns to the big stage on Sunday, August 3rd.

Next, we have Today Junior, an East Coast Electronic/Emo band from our hometown of Saint John, New Brunswick. Their debut album, Picking Up The Pieces, is out now, and we'll get a taste on Saturday, August 2nd!

Best known for their killer live sets, Half Moon Run is a two-time Juno Award-winning blend of folk, dream-pop, and indie rock. You can catch them live on the 506 stage Sunday, August 3rd!

Red Cardinal from Saint John blends the raw energy of 90s grunge with the punchy vibes of 2000s pop-punk. After kicking off the final Waterfront Concert Series show of 2024, they’re bringing that energy to the festival stage on Sunday, August 3rd.

Canadian rock duo Death From Above 1979 will bring their heavy, dance-punk sound to the stage on Saturday, August 2nd. Known for relentless live shows and stripped-down style, this duo creates a sound that hits harder than most full bands.

Joining them are The Merci Buckets, who, in just three years, have already achieved a lot, including their debut record being nominated for Recording of the Year. We’ll get to witness their energetic, raucous spectacle of a performance earlier in the day!

The Motorleague has been a staple of the East Coast music scene for nearly two decades, picking up multiple East Coast Music Awards and Music New Brunswick awards along the way. They'll be bringing those big riffs with them on Saturday, August 2nd.

@realwolfcastle.bsky.social — two-time ECMA-nominated Mi'kmaq rapper, singer, producer, and songwriter — is back and he's bringing along Fredericton friends, The Olympic Symphonium, on Saturday, August 2nd.

For our 10th anniversary, you *know* we had to bring back a few 506 favourites. Matt Mays has built a rock ‘n’ roll legacy all his own, and the Juno-winning powerhouse is back on the big stage Friday, August 1st.

Earlier that day, New Brunswick's own Poets and Liars will kick this whole thing off. With Kendra’s powerhouse vocals, Warren’s groove-heavy drumming, and Kortni’s deep basslines, they deliver high-energy rock that’s louder, bolder, and hotter than your pleather pants on a summer day.

First up: Broken Social Scene. Over two decades, they’ve racked up @pitchfork.com praise, Juno Awards, Coachella & Lollapalooza sets, Letterman gigs - even name-drops in Lorde songs - and they’ll be here on Friday, August 1st.
