Oh for sure! I just struggle to really do horror well in that kind of setting. *shrug* With so many other games to run, I definitely don't sweat not being able to run horror at a con/flgs (and do a good job of it). 🙂

I've definitely done that at both cons and one of my local game stores. It's so far been a good time, except that I've learned I don't do well running horror in settings like that; for a variety of reasons, that's a weakness I have.

Honestly? That's kind of how I feel about things in the U.S. presently, hence the overwhelming anxiety. 🫤

I very well might. I live in the U.S. and am pretty frequently overwhelmed by anxiety around what's happening here.

Re: Free League. It's great that they have gotten some incredible IPs to make games from, but they also have their own IPs (e.g., Vaesen). Most important is the quality of the products they release coupled with price points that are very approachable, especially for their starter sets.

WotC/Hasbro has certainly done a lot of "not great" stuff, especially in recent years, but they also do stuff like this. #mtg #tcg #transrightsarehumanrights
