Depends on the game, the purpose for it being there, & the players. With VtM (up through Revised ed), the lore came from an unreliable narrator, putting the whole question of Caine in doubt. I will use lore & theme if it serves the story, disregard it if it doesn't.

I've learned solo #ttrpgs aren't for me. The Call of Cthulhu starter set has a solo scenario to play to learn the rules (brilliant way to do it, really). It was cool, but not really for me. I know some people really enjoy solo games, but I definitely prefer being able to interact w/others as I play.

I don't need to win a lottery jackpot. I just need to win enough money so I can retire and spend an unreasonable amount of time playing various #ttrpgs. Probably should actually *play* the lottery first, though. Always some flaw in the plan. #rpg #ttrpgsky
