2/3 On 17 Feb, 4 journos and a lawyer representing the detainees were arrested outside the compound. Media reports allege that at least one of the journalists was beaten, and that prior to their release, journalists' phones, cameras, and laptops were confiscated by the police.

- Substantial budget increases for #ICE

- Growing efforts to conduct third-country deportations

🚨 Earlier this month, the U.S deported 5 migrants to #Eswatini - where they were placed in solitary confinement. This appears to violate UN Convention against Torture—the U.S. State Dept itself has documented torture & extrajudicial killings there.
