Facebook handed me a "five-years-ago-today" memory. I'm standing in a basement in Winnipeg, live-streaming a show for the first time ever, because the world has been shut down.

Someone on a "buy Canadian" group just asked where she could buy Canadian spices, especially Paprika. Ma'am... the Spice Trade happened for a reason... Boycotts are fine but Isolationism is flavorless.

Today I began work in an incredible Theatre, as part of the cast of Indecent: A play with glorious music, about racism, homophobia, censorship, about the arts - and it was a crazy day to start a play like this, but also felt very right. Tell the stories. Never stop telling the stories.

Basically, a day.

It's such a tiny moment of "OH MY GOD, SO BEAUTIFUL!!" before the "OH MY GOD THIS IS ALL I'M GOING TO SEE FOR MONTHS?!?" sets in.
