I was in the supermarket check out and an older woman with trolley was walking backwards with it she stopped before hitting me and apologised. I said “don’t worry, I’m built like a battleship” for a moment she looked like she was going to laugh and then just said “your words”.

This is the result of my first experiment with fabric dyeing. I used too many colours and it ended up a bit pinky-purple. But it’s encouraged me to experiment a bit more.

Back here again for my 20th visit whilst working on the Doctor Who Blu-ray Collections! Here all week, gathering material for the next unannounced 2026 release as well as making a start on the scanning for the two releases after that (probably).

I do not like much “pop” music. It just doesn’t resonate with me. There’s not enough going on.

If you think about it, it's a weird part of the news. It's the only thing in modern news that is a prediction, rather than reporting on what *has* happened.

I sit on a Sunday and plan out a week's worth of meals. I look at the BOM site so I'm not using the oven or whatever on a really hot day.
And then I make sure to balance the week so I'm not eating the same protein two nights in a row, and if I can have left overs/bulk meals, or meal from freezer.

I have one in my ute. But going shopping so will probably just pull the hood on the jacket on. It’s past due needing a wash anyways so it’ll go in the hamper when I return.

I’ve been rewatching B7 with the new blu-ray releases.
The writing is generally great, though some of Terry’s scripts are a bit meh. Direction is often excellent. They’re incredibly ambitious with what they’ve got.
