Artists, question, what value do you think we add to other people’s lives as artists?

What value does #art have? I doubt it’s beauty because we shun beautiful works done through AI. So what is it do we actually contribute as an #artist???

I don’t even think you need to do that most of #AIartists label our work as #AIart, it’s not like we’re trying to hide it or pass it of as human-made art.

Experimenting w/ different styles at the moment but I'm in love with this semirealistic 2.5d style I always do. I find it hard to let go cuz I find it beautiful but at the same time everybody is doing it. So it's hard to stand out. To love or to stand out?

It's fashionable and acceptable to hate on #AIart and the people who make them. But maybe #AIartists just have visions that far exceeds their talent to create.

I too have a vision. I too love #art. I too have expectations & standards to meet. I too have something I want to create but unlike you [a great #artist] I don't have enough talent to see it through. Only by becoming an #AIartist can I make my art reality.

Some #artists are more talented than others. Kudos to you if you're one of those. But what am I to do if I'm not as talented as you? What is a class-B artist to do to make his vision, his art, come to life? What am I to do to continue loving #art and doing it? I become an #AIartist.

Lots of artists are against #AIart. Understandably so. When something we love could be heartlessly mass produced and threaten our livelihood it's a natural reaction.

I get a lot of hate for this, but I see AIart as another medium by which to express myself and create #art that I love.

I know I’ll get hate for this: AI is a tool. If those people want AI generated images at least take a prompter who has an art background. An artist can see what prompters don’t and can work on correcting the AI’s mistakes.

Believe it or not I was once an artist (not AI artist). I actually went to art school and did traditional arts and digital art.

But as I got older this kind of art became a dead end for me. So I became an AIartist.
