why does the quest monster have a "🎯THIS IS THE MONSTER YOU'RE HUNTING🎯" icon hovering above it 100% of the time? do they think I'll forget?

The technology is intrusively superfluous. Seeing how much it impaired people's thinking inspired me to rely on my mind more, like doing simple arithmetic in my head rather than using my phone. Clearing out the cobwebs felt crummy at first but was worth it.
